Black Water Adventure Cruise - September 17, 2016


The Lord Craven Chapter NSCDXVIIC and The United Daughters of 1812, Commissioner Charles Gause Chapter and  will gather for a joint meeting on September 17, 2016 on a Black Water Adventure Cruise!  Please join us for an exciting 2 hour tour from downtown Wilmington up the Northeast Cape Fear River. The boat holds 49 passengers and we hope to fill the boat! Bring your husband or friend for an 
informative and fun trip on the river.  The cost is
$30.00 per person. Information on time, 
 gathering place, parking, etc. will be posted later.

Board of Management Meeting in Greensboro August 11-12






Lord Craven President, Ruth-Anne Bolz;  Linda Rivenbark, Recording Secretary and Pat Gooding, Vice-President
NC Society Colonial Dames XVII Century Board Management Meeting was held on August 12-13, 2016 at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Season in Greensboro, North Carolina. The meeting began on Friday afternoon, and concluded with an informal dinner and with Richard Starbuck, Archivist, Moravian Church southern Province, who shared the 250 Year History of Salem. Saturday morning the meeting resumed and was concluded with a luncheon and the announcement of awards that the State received at the National Convention. 
President General Libbey McAteer attended the Saturday meeting.

Julia Floyd, State President is expected to attend our  Lord Craven February meeting in 2017.
