Vice-President, Linda Rivenbark and guest speaker, Judy Elkins

Lord Craven, CDXVII held their February 17, 2018 meeting at Carolina BBQ on College Rd., Wilmington. The guest speaker Judy Elkins, a tea connoisseur, explained "Teas and Tea Etiquette of the Colonial Era". It was quite interesting and informative. She gave everyone a sample of tea to try.

Anne Boone had the winning ticket and won this beautiful scarf, but was kind and gave it to Diane Kuebert, so she could give it to her mother who loves poppies and the meaning behind the flower of WWI. Diane will give it to her on Mother’s Day.  That was so thoughtful of Anne to give this beautiful give up.  Linda Rivenbark purchased this beautiful scarf when she was on vacation with her husband, Mo. They were on a river cruise in France.
