Wreaths Across America - December 15, 2018 at the Wilmington National Cemetery

Volunteers from The National Society North Carolina Colonial Dames 17th Century Lord Craven Chapter who manned the forces of passing out the wreaths to hundreds of people along with their volunteers from the Wilmington and Leeland area. Also, the Civil Air Patrol came to the rescue to assist opening up additional boxes of wreaths to place on the tables for all the guests who placed the wreaths on the graves of the Veterans.

2. Fill in your information and the name of the person. Then your credit card information. If you do not get a thank you e-mail after donating or you don’t receive a confirmation e-mail, then the transaction did not go through.
If you are having problems ordering a wreath then call the main number for Wreaths Across America at 877-385-9504 Monday-Friday someone will answer the phone between 7:00am through 7:00 pm. On weekends you can call Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am until 2:00pm. You can buy a wreath by credit card or debit card. If you call any other time you can leave your name and phone number, and someone will call you back. When talking to a representative from Wreaths Across America you will need to tell them the number for our Lord Craven Chapter is NC0008P and the cemetery is Wilmington National Cemetery.

NOVEMBER 17, 2018 MEETING

Veterans Day Ceremony on November 12, 2018 at 10:00 at St. James Community Center
VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
On November the 12, 2018 (Not a mistake) the American Legion Post 543 will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony. It will be held at 10 am at the St. James Community Center. All welcome, refreshment served after the ceremony.

9/11 RMEMBRANCE CEREMONY 10:00 AM
The American Legion Post 543 and the St. James Fire Department will jointly hos a remembrance ceremony to honor those lost to the terrorist attack on 9/11. The ceremony will be held at the St. James Community Center at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. The ceremony is open to the public and everyone is invited.
