Living historians will interpret various colonial trades and aspects of colonial life, including candle-making, blacksmithing, woodworking, and more. Kids will have an opportunity to experience colonial toys and games. This event is FREE. All ages are welcome. The photos below were taken at an event at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson on May 18, 2024

This lady ran the general store out of her large tent. You could actually purchase items from the store, and yes, you could use a credit card.

President Jane Johnson at the first Lord Craven meeting covered information for the first meeting of the year.




Colonial Dames State President and member of the Lord Craven Colonial Dames Chapter was presented with a cake and many cards wishing her well on her move from North Carolina to her new home in Virginia.

New Lord Craven members top photo Pam Proctor and bottom photo Pam Gordon were presented with gifts by President Jane Johnson.




President Carol Jutte of 
the Daughters of the American Colonists, (DAC) prepared their meeting to come to order. This group always holds their meetings directly after the Lord Craven Meetings since many of the Lord Craven members are also in the DAC.
